Who should lead the world?

I recently redesigned my website and the outcome produced a new, powerful message: Empowering Women Leaders. Coincidentally, the same day my remodeled site launched, i went to a movie with my husband and my two older kids about Strong Women Leaders. Then this morning, my husband sent me a link about how the world would be different (more peaceful) if there were more women world leaders. And then to top it all off, I spent some time on this page, WomensHappiness, and read more about their Feminine Empowerment program. What's that word, when all things keep pointing to one direction? Serendipity? Yes, I believe that is it.
And do you know why the world would be so different if more women were in power positions? It's our kids, our children. Women, Moms, want a safe and peaceful world for our children. We are hard-wired to nurture and breath life into people and situations, if we can generalize here. While the hunter-gather position can explain a great deal, it can also be applied to women in leadership. Men hunt, they kill. I'm not saying that all men kill, but it is the mentality that can be a consistent undercurrent in most dialogue, business transactions and world conversations. Women, on the other hand, gather. We gather information and pass it along to our other tribe members, in an effort to propagate our species safely; we try to give solid information about which berries are most dangerous, so our children won't eat them.
If you have time, spend a moment reading about WomensHappiness' Feminine Empowerment. And, in that same spirit, below is a link to a short video created in hopes of empowering more women to lead. Our world needs us.

The Girl-Power Generation
Gretchen,
Congrats on the new web site!
I believe is a huge issue, because the Gen Y (or millennial) generation of women IS poised to take leadership in the corporate/government sphere. Check out great articles of late in the Atlantic Monthly magazine ("The End of Men" and "What, Me Marry?") about the societal changes taking place. Men lost more jobs in the recent recession in manufacturing and the trades (they call it the "he-cession"), and corporate leadership jobs require a "high-tech, high-touch" skill set that women are better at. Women currently are more than half of all law, medical and business school students, and they are getting better grades than their male classmates. I call this generation of women under 30 the "girl-power" generation. Pretty soon, we'll all be answering to them. :)
But feminine and masculine psychology remain the same and will always be a factor in relationships and the quest for happiness and fulfillment in life. That's what "Complete Feminine Empowerment is all about.
