Have a Drama-Free Holiday

I have an uncle who says inappropriate, hurtful things at the dinner table during family gatherings. At least he used to, he's mellowed with age, thank god. When I was a teenager, I used to second-guess my hurt feelings over the snide, cynical remarks he would make.

Question: I am seeing someone who is 12 years younger, and I am 36. We've been seeing each other for a month, and we've been intimate. He calls or texts me every day. We are wildly attracted to each other. He is extremely sweet and gentlemanly. He is on track with his career, and I understand this is the important part of his masculinity. He is at the stage in his life where his friends play a huge role in his life. His career requires him to attend industry events almost every night.
