Challenges of a Man Before Ending a 25yr. Marriage

Hi Dr. Paul,

Does a man go through stages of doing or being before actually getting divorced in a 25 yr. marriage that has been dead for years.

We don;t get a complete picture here. Like the brevity, but need more detail.

The interesting thing is that BOTH men and women have very similar emotions and emotional capacity, but often over different aspects of a problem or relationship.

For example, both feel grief, and go through stages of it, but with different types of pain - for example, perhaps a woman misses the friendships made together with other couples, and the man feels knocked down in status, shame etc, and the emotions are the same - both part of grief.
