March 30th is designated National Doctor's Day!

National Doctor's Day 2010, honoring the work of doctors across the United States, is being celebrated today, March 30, 2010.
The annual event is held every March 30. According to DoctorsDay.org, "It is a day to celebrate the contribution of physicians who serve our country by caring for its' citizens."
The first Doctor's Day was observed on March 30, 1933 in Winder, Georgia, when Eudora Brown Almond - wife of Dr. Charles B. Almond - decided to set a day aside to honor physicians. In 1990, the House and Senate officially declared March 30 "National Doctor's Day."
Traditionally, people celebrate the day by going out of their way to thank their doctors, mailing greeting cards, and sending flowers. The red carnation is commonly associated with the National Doctor's Day.
If you want to get creative, there are Web sites that offer special doctor's gifts, like a doctor's stress ball or prescription chocolate bar found here.
Some Web sites will send cards for you for a fee or if you have your doctor's email address, you could go the eCard route.
DoctorsDay.org has other goodies and is offering a free poster PDF for Doctor's Day.
Congratulations, Dr. Paul, and thanks for all you do to help others!
I was reminded just now by a Doctor who has attended several of Dr. Paul's seminars, but also, Cheryl mentioned this to me several weeks ago.
Post your kudos to Dr. Paul, and Doctors everywhere for their dedication to helping others.

Aw thank you guys. Didn't even know it exists - too busy building this organization for you. Which, hmm, to the masculine instinct is, interestingly, the best possible celebration we could have. To be in action doing a mission to honor you.
Weird, I feel like doing a whole forum post on this subject right here.
Ever notice some guys at holidays or anniversaries might hint that they'd rather be working? Or go through the celebration part quickly?
For many, it would seem rude - how could they not celebrate? How coudl they not honor me on my anniversary? And they SHOULD, with equal time attending to the natural feminine need to canoodle, commune, discuss, and bond. But the other half the man is thrilled to be out there doing doing doing - and surprisingly to many, not out of selfishness, but in honor of you and himself through ACTIONS.
Wow cool.
Thanks!
