Well, there’s no doubt that pretty much ALL the Queenliness I possess comes out on this forum. It’s definitely the predominant quadrant here.
My KWML has long been a mystery to me, but as incomprehensible as this will sound to those of you who primarily know me via this forum or ‘online’ so to speak, if I think about me as a child – and what I default to in moments of fear or threat etc. – then there is no doubt in my mind I was born a Lover.
I think the reason that is not evident any more is because I spent a lifetime trying NOT to be one. Wasn’t conscious of it in KWML terms, of course, but on reflection that was what I was doing. My career path also kind of ‘forced’ me down other avenues that while great for my integration and growth, were not fundamentally suited to me at my core. It took a long time for me to realise that.
Which is why I said what I said in my post re what KWML ‘mode’ we’re in when we post. My KWML tests for some time come out very evenly split. I don’t think I am fundamentally left brained, even though I can be very in my head and obsessive and intense.
People have commented on here that I have very orderly thinking and posts – but I am not an orderly thinker at all!! The difference is that here I can think about the questions, mull it over, write a response, edit it etc., so that it may appear orderly, but my actual thought processes are not. Much more right brained and DISorderly. In fact, I find trying to think of things in a linear or orderly way physically distressing and stressful, honestly. When I’m asked to write strategies for work, I know in essence what needs to happen, I can see it very clearly, but when it comes to putting it down in black and white, articulating it in a business strategy form, it’s really, really difficult for me.
But overall, there are Queen traits, yes, and maybe it’s my second quadrant inherently, which gets to be ‘heard’ here and in other similar aspects of my life.

Consider most of western education centers on pushing men and women to be kings and queens - they make good corporate worker bees...
Not your fault.

I never thought about that til now....but having recently gone to my elementary school reunion I could see the Little King and Queen children DID grow up to be corporate heads or surgeons! One of my best girl friends is a Queen and she is in state government. I would just implode in a cubicle....terrifying thought.
Janice, I think what you wrote about having those strategic plans come so easily to you is something that I notice is greatly appreciated by Forum members. You have very clear thinking and when someone is considering "this OR that" and trying to make a case for both....
I love how you DO see the lighted path through the forest and give specific directions. I KNOW Forum members feel a great sense of relief upon receiving your advice....so I thought for sure it was Queen-like. Good Queens are not bossy...just sincere at wanting to lead a country to a secure state.
Wonder what Dianna would have been like had she been Queen. Isn't it interesting....all childrens fairytales have sweet princesses that marry...but no one ever says "And she lived Happily Ever After as Queen Cinderella, ruling her land with great kindness and Power"....haha...
Ok
Am getting looooong poster syndrome here....
Gotta bake cookies,

Heart, I simply cannot imagine you in a cubicle of any kind haha.
And thanks for this. (Still don't see myself as a clear thinker, but glad that's how I come across
) Interesting your comment about good Queens not being bossy. I don't consider myself bossy, nor do I see myself as leading a mass of any kind (country or other), but I like to help if I can....and I can certainly be a b**ch if really pushed.
This comment made me wonder what KWML Mother Theresa was, 'cos that's a bit like what she did. Even Ghandi, in many respects (ruled his land with great kindness and power).
If Diana was a Queen, then speaking hypothetically, my guess is that she would have been more 'stoic' in her ways. Maybe like the current Queen? Queen Elizabeth is compassionate and extraordinarily responsible and 'professional', so never stepped outside the role publicly or threatened the monarchy in any way. Is she a Queen in KWML terms?
I guess fairytales tap into popular fantasies (and instinctual drives) of little girls (and big ones haha), ie meeting the handsome prince and leading the life of a princess or a queen. Unfortunately, though, many princesses/queens do not live such lives, do they? Certainly Diana didn't. I presume Charles is a King - or at least a King/Lover, so they weren't necessarily a good match. Camilla may not appear like it now, but going by reports on what she was like as a younger woman, I'd guess she was/is a Magician or Magician/Warrior. Do you agree?

Hi Tobi!
How's it all going for you these days? Its good to see you posting. I was wondering how your relationship was going with the man you mentioned a while back. You echoed what many women have written about Janice's value to our Forum. Its like she is the "Night Shift" because of the fact that she is awake in Australia looking at Online Coaching posts when the rest of us are dreaming in North America. A lot of distress and relationship crisis-like posts come in from members late at night. Its good to know Janice is often able to offer some coaching then. (Tho Dr Paul seems to have Observing Ego after midnight as well.
Janice, if I end up in a cubicle I fear my "humming" would drive others wacky. Also, I know I could not stay "on task" and would probably start writing a screen-play with snippets of the conversations I heard around me. Woody Allen in a cubicle....! He was so good at making overheard conversations seem hilarious. Remember the scene in Annie Hall when he was overhearing conversations in a line at the movie theatre....haha...I love it. Overheard conversations amongst people trying to be intellectual....hilarious.
I like to laugh at conversations where people discuss what they baked or cooked . Recently I heard two nurses describing their holidays. As the one was telling the other what she did "step by step" in some recipe...I could just imagine the Womens Day Magazine on the counter and the creme of mushroom soup cans next to the tuna and noodles....haha...I was just waiting for her to say "and then you get a little can of those tiny french fried onions and sprinkle them on the top before putting the casserole in the oven"...! Forgive me if I am making fun too much of tuna noodle casserole....It IS comfort food...and it might be a good thing to eat during relationship distress!!!
Anyway...IF I do end up in a cubicle I would for SURE have a sideline job selling Mary Kay Cosmetics. Gotta make the system work for ya...Seriously.
But, on the otherside of life....interesting thought about Diana. I will reply in next post because this one has reached legal limit of length

Re: Short Posts Vs Long Posts!
Janice, hello again!
Royalty Magazine is not found in most medical waiting rooms here so we rarely get much news on Camilla. I think someone mentioned before that Camilla has many Magician qualities.
Mother Theresa may have had plenty of Warrior....but I think she probably was very KWML balanced. Gandhi too.
What I love about my Indian friends is that they did not grow up with "fear" about being Direct Communicators. Being sure about what one feels is not considered a flaw in their culture. Another thing I notice is that because "romantic love " is not the focus of their life search....they seem more uncluttered in the mental-worry department. This is not a statement about ALL
Indian women, I'm just reflecting on what I see common in my social circle.
Okie Dokie....Its yogurt 'n flax oil time here at the zoo...
Gotta go.
Thanks for the conversation ladies. Have fun today!

I LOVED waking up to a well informed Janice post.
As far as the guy goes...last night, I came home to a dozen roses on my doorstep. I have since figured out that its football weekend. I'm trying my best to let him off the hook and have his weekend, but I have stuck around.
Dr Paul has long posts too!
